There are mostly crap blogs, but there are good ones too. And they certainly put more cohesive thought into anything than a tweet or FB status update. (Even if I must say that Twitter's 140-character limit strategy is genius for keeping out the likes of Cronios.

So again I ask: what do you then deem worth reading? How do you actually go out and attempt to get educated about the world?

But anyway, no, I don't read books anymore because I'd rather just sit and listen to music or do something else. I read plenty of stuff on the internet and contrary to what you may think, I do actually know a lot about a lot of things.
