Funny thing you say sick, I think every third person is ill at the moment. I will eat a lot no worries :D not sure about those vitamins, though. While we're at vitamins, every time I took some (pills) I got sick, weird stuff... it happened to me three times lol.

How much you squat at the moment?
i keep it at 2 plates on each side, legs are the only muscle group i dont push too hard, i dont know if you remmeber i had injured my back a few years ago and ever since i am always careful with non-seated exercises

Umm not really, I forgot (dunno if I even saw your comment) about your injury. But yeah I totally understand that, back are the worst when it comes to injuries. I did 4 sets of 15 reps with 170lb.

You could probably do 4 sets of 8 reps with 225 lbs without destroying yourself completely.

Too much weight at once or did you have an odd rep and rip a muscle?

It's like 30kgs added, I doubt it. Anyway, I usually do 10 reps, this was the only time I did so many... but I even increased weight. I think my legs are strong but I really don't wanna snap some shit up.
As long as you keep good form you should be able to improve steadily. If you don't want to jump in weight too quickly I understand. As long as you improve then it doesn't matter. Set a goal to do like 250 lbs or 300 lbs a year from now and work toward it.
