I had no idea student loans were that horrible in the states. It's the best loan possible in Denmark. People take it even though they have money enough to study just because it's a very affordable way of getting money for investing.

1.5% while I'm studying and then it's 2% + the national interest rate after I'm done lol.
Mine is only affected by inflation (~3% a year) and you don't have to pay it back until your salary reaches around $50k a year. A small percentage gets taken out automatically once you start earning that much. My parents said they'll put in $1000 a semester too

You guys are soooo lucky! I got to pay 6000+$ a year. And right now I'm in debt for 21 000$ because of student loans...and I'm only in my third year.
At least here in Canada its not as bad as the US...

It's really great here, if you can live with the racist 12% of the country . Oh, and you need to be prepared to pay 40-60% income tax, depending on how much you make. The more you make, the more you pay

I think I will get around 1.400 euro every month after taxes
but I don't have to pay back a thing before januari 2015 probably .
so by then I might earn even more then now.
the interest per year is probably 1%
so i will act like I need to pay back already and put that at a saving account which give me at least 2% and then if I have to start paying back I probably have a whole lot already.
