same can be said about history, lit., philosophy, and pretty much any non-technical degree
Theorising on something that has no proof of existence and hold no real world applications at all other than convincing people of the logical steps you have taken is different than understand the real world we live in and deal with every day.

History sucks dick imo.
History is our only way of understanding why we are where we are, it teaches us not to make the same mistakes and how to better humanity for the future. Theology teaches you to sit down and think about what your imaginary friend wants you to say about them. Pretty big fucking difference. To even consider History and Theology to be on the same level intellectually is one of the most absurd things i've heard and pathetic attempt at baiting me. Its not even an argument.

winging it? what applications are there to metaphysics? how much more accurate and on point than theology is history? is there any literature that it is not fiction?

Now my question, are you so blinded by your hate that you cant put things in perspective?
I don't think much of philosophy, I can't say anything about literature without offending Kate and I don't want to. I just answered about history.

Sciences/Social Sciences are real subjects. I consider philosophy as an arts study as do a lot of unis.

dude, that up there is one of the most contradictory statements i have read on here.
There is more than one school of thought on understanding history, only two of them (reformist/revisionist & orthodox) takes the understanding of history as in state of absolute fact or myth. Nothing is that simple and its really ignorant to view it in that way, which is why most academics don't adhere to either anymore.

The posts on the past page are history now, are they myth? You can read them as they were written.

If you want to talk about ancient history then you have more of a point. Given the role of carbon dating etc. etc. understanding ancient history is a lot easier.
