@Greg, Kyle: Is smoking banned in SF?
Believe it or not, in bars and restaurants, yes. Outside is cool though.

Reading for my lecture on Islam and the western media tomorrow. So fucking tired of religion, its just so stupid. Theres nothing more to it and i'm done caring about morons. If you are religious then you are no longer a part of humanity. (The/D)eists are now renamed as a sub species of human evolution - retardus ignoramus.
The study of religion is only a shade this side of studying anthropology. I don't get your cocky-assed point.

What I love are reactions like this, which are equal to the reactions someone has about their religious superiority in their own belief system. Two sides of the same coin.

thats why i said if you take that stance towards theology than you're banalizing the rest too, myth is not always your enemy just ask joe campbell
Word. :agree:

In a swag sense? :pado:

in time? before the rapture?
:lol2:

Watch it, or I'll have Tahir and his boys fly planes into the Washington Monument!
That shit is already cracked from the earthquake anyway.

It's funny that the hotels are smoke free too. Like you can't smoke in your own room, or out in the balcony? That is strange.

That should make Z's job easier. He'll just need a Cessna rather than an Airbus.
What do you expect? It looks like a falace.
Didn't expect a welcoming reaction. Obviously you weren't gonna take me seriously, but that was unforseen. :D

I don't ask Saudia Arabia to behave differently because I am an athiest. I wouldn't set fire to a Syrian Embassy if they drew a cartoon of science. I don't rape children. I don't tell the poorest in the world not to wear condoms.

Thats the difference. I couldn't give a fuck that its a minortiy of a minority, it still happens and shouldn't. You cannot compare atheists to religions, they are polar opposites.

Because all religious people, and only religious people, set fire to embassies, rape children, etc.?

That's stroking it there with a pretty broad brush.

They are so similar, it's ridiculous. The dogma. The orthodoxy. The I'm-superior-and-right-and-your-belief-system-sucks-compared-to-mine. The prosthelytizing and preaching. The injecting it in spaces of conversations or social discussions where it was never invited.

I would throw militant atheists and militant religious types in the same pit and burn them all.

I'm sorry, let me get this right. Because other people/organisations rape children or attack embassy's we should just forget that religions do it?

And there is a big fucking difference between a religion and a civillian paedophile. A religion dictates rules and laws which people live their lives by, they offer moral 'guidance' and societies are based around the historic grip on nations that different religions have.

With regards to your last point you don't understand my feelings towards religion. I couldn't care less if someone wants to believe whatever they want to believe, I see it as an idiot tax on the human experience. I have a problem with organised religion and supporters of organised religion - thats what i oppose. You want to burn me in a pit? Thats nice greg  .

Wait, Jasp lost an argument?
Watching the Azzurri and hadn't checked for a while.

So what you're saying is that the average person who sends a Christmas card in the mail, maybe doesn't attend church, but slips a fiver now and then to the pastor's charity coffers must therefore rape children and blow up embassies. And that anyone who doesn't profess religious beliefs automatically obtains immunity from ever being accused of child rape and terrorism.

Righhhhhht....

And there is a big fucking difference between a religion and a civillian paedophile. A religion dictates rules and laws which people live their lives by, they offer moral 'guidance' and societies are based around the historic grip on nations that different religions have.
But religions are a construct of people. By the people for the people.

Unless you believe they were first created by some superior being. :p

Persecuting someone for their religious beliefs is against my moral fiber, is all.

This is exactly the problem with the blurred lines where people think the skeptical movement are supporters of atheism, when in fact they are more agnostic by definition.
