Ok Im confused now! cardio to lose weight, before or after the workout? :D
You know i'm not an expert but for me the best way to lose weight is starting cardio before you hit the weights and then hit the weights, both help you to burn calories. Lifting weights is even better i heared. And drink alot of water!

Hey Kate&Janna!

:disagree: Cardio AFTER strength training.

Unless you're a little bitch that can't do a squat and then jog

I'm doing:

10mins warmup cross trainer
Squats
Ball Dips :p
Kettle bell lifts
Bicep Curls
Chest Press
Tricep Dips
Ball sit ups
60 mins cross trainer

I can't jog I have structural problems with my right knee :depressed

The primary function of strength training is not to burn calories, it is to build muscle, muscle eats calories, I warm up to avoid pulling anything.

Then it's a nice 10k on the cross trainer doing interval training (4 mins fast, 1 moderate) which on a peak day takes just over an hour and 15mins :)
