God, I hate people who post stuff such as "Finally I'm living my life to the full now!", "Why haven't I been like this before?" or "Living the days!" on Facebook after somehow they ended their relationship with their partner, only when you meet them in person you'll realize how miserable they truly are. Such fake people.
Defense mechanism.

Parisians are really not that rude. If you walk up to them speaking another language of course they're going to be offended. Try and speak French with them or at least ask in French whether they speak English or not. Paris is the most beautiful city in the world for mine. I spent a few weeks there and was in constant awe of what I was seeing but Martin's right, for the amount of coffee they drink its absolute shit. I love France and its people. Despite not speaking French as well as I spoke Italian at the time, I've never felt so welcomed in a foreign country. The people in London seem to constantly be in work mode. The people in Rome are either rude to you or trying to take advantage of you.

There are so many stories you hear about people being treated rudely in Paris or France. I have never seen that, or experienced it. Not saying it's not true, but maybe it means that these people didn't understand how to behave in the first place.

I hate the Roman accent.
