Radical.

So what's cooking in the test tubes?

I am oxidizing some platinum metal coordinated to organic ligand using two different methods. Already tested one of them and it worked, the second one i repeated since I broke the flask, waiting to pump all solvent off, testing the results via nuclear magnetic resonance, then get out of the lab and head to the gym.
How is Europe treating you Sir?

Ah yeah, I was doing that earlier today, it's a sound procedure.

It's minding its business.

So you like lab work? Physical manipulations of samples and stuff?

.
I like manipulating things in general. :

I enjoy lab work, but these day it's mostly writing. I have one year to hand in my Phd thesis and defend it. I don't mind lab work, I enjoy it more than reading chemical Journals and writing results and discussions

For what it's worth I never thought a great deal of reading journal articles. Annoying much of the time. Much prefer blogs and informal writing where people try to keep it simple rather than make it as messy as possible.
