Enjoying the vacation very much, the period before it, i've never been so busy like that in my whole life.

Ya, like the Arabs that we are, we're planning a trip to the desert, we're taking with us a couple of four wheel drives, so it should be fun. We're also going to have a barbeque there, camp and spend the night.

Yes and no. Because if I get the idea that it's all her fault, I will get angry. And angry is not good in my case. I have no problem getting over people, unless I am angry, because then I start obsessing. So I try to avoid that. I also don't love her anymore. There are certain things that make me lose that feeling instantly. Lying is one of them. And I don't mean lying in the sense that she cheated because she didn't, but in the sense that she minimalises her own behaviour and acts as if she's been nothing but friendly. In relationships one should always try to look at both sides of the medal, even if one can only try.

That said I do agree with swag. You should try to end things in a civil manner and try to remain friends, but if one party is completely unwilling to do that, there's no sense in trying to win her favour. All of this is rational of course, but seeing as I'm far from rational these days I have simply removed her telephone numbers and her e-mail and defriended her on facebook. After all, why risk the temptation?

Well, people that I like, or used to like, that is. We'll see how it goes. If she tries to contact me in a couple of days or weeks she might deserve to be my friend. Right now she doesn't and I'm not going to talk to her myself.

Also another thing that has saddened me over the years is my capacity to hurt people. With words obviously. I realise that with friends or your girlfriend you're supposed to fight every now and then. It happens. But when other people fight they aim to miss, if you understand what I mean. They insult people, but they make sure they don't say that one thing that will really hurt the other person. But that's not how I do things unfortunately. When someone insults me, I get cruel. I aim to kill. And it's sad because two hours later my feelings will probably have changed, it's just that there's this moment in which I am capable of saying virtually anything. And by God, it has made a lot of people, a lot of girls, resent me over the years .

I guess that, more than anything, this is about me. It's not really about her. She's just a girl. But it looks as if I'm looking for redemption.

Mja, we waren een maand of vijf samen. Nu niet extreem veel, maar toch ook niet echt weinig. Zeker niet naar mijn normen. We hadden nog een paar keer afgesproken, een paar keer seks gehad ook. En dan nog wat heen en weer gestuurd met Kerstmis. Enfin, we waren wel uit elkaar en het stond ook wel vast dat we niet meer samen gingen zijn, maar het leek er toch op uit te komen dat we goede vrienden zouden blijven. En plots verandert ze helemaal van mening en negeert ze mij. Wat pijn doet natuurlijk en wat ervoor zorgde dat ik een aantal best domme dingen stuurde. Nu is het ondertussen natuurlijk één grote knoeiboel geworden. Wat mij dan stoort in die dingen is dat ik van een nette oplossing houd. Nu gaan twee mensen elkaar hatend uiteen en dat zint me niet.

We are probably different than others, I can't be an ass and give you advises, but only sharing my experiences with you, it started this way with me too, and didn't end good, if you can erase her from your memory, do it!

Hmm ja ik herken deze situatie man, vrouwen kunnen het bloed onder je nagels vandaan halen waardoor je dingen doet en zegt die je niet meent, heb je haar al gevraagd voor een 1op1 gesprek en dan het liefste ergens publiekelijk zodat je je zelfbeheersing in toom houd en dus niet in de verleiding komt om tegen haar teschreeuwen.
