and if they don't know people like Khawarismi, then Europe's educational system is almost as biased and nationalist as us.
It's unrealistic to expect otherwise. We have certain points of reference in the West that are never disputed, like Greek philosophy, or the French revolution. But those are... concessions. We've made peace with them. But on the whole the people from any country would love to be told that their compatriots are the most acclaimed people of all.

What are you saying? We know many of their scientists who have contributed less than Khwarizmi :D

Deneb; For a middle easterner guy, as educated as Martin, Leibniz is a known mathematician :D

I barely know who Leibniz is myself. I remember knowing something about him in the past, but I don't remember any of it.
