It's unrealistic to expect otherwise. We have certain points of reference in the West that are never disputed, like Greek philosophy, or the French revolution. But those are... concessions. We've made peace with them. But on the whole the people from any country would love to be told that their compatriots are the most acclaimed people of all.

I love studying about scientists and their works. In fact, I love studying history of science. It was one of my favorite courses in university.
