It's about carrying yourself with self-respect. On a site for an Italian football club, this should not be that foreign of a concept. Fabio Capello may have been a dolt, but the way he presented himself commanded respect.
Contrast with most of the coaches in the NFL, who by sponsorships and endorsements have to dress like they're changing an oil filter in a NASCAR pit crew.
Clothes may not make the man. But we live in a society where people go to the opera in sweatpants and flip-flops ... and literally show no respect for themselves or the people around them. And are blissfully ignorant of that.
Only one notch above them are the people who drop $300 on a pair of blue jeans -- which is like tricking out your Honda Civic for $40k.
Apparently, the other day in a staff meeting, Rahm Emanuel was cracking his knuckles while Obama was speaking. Obama asked him politely to stop it, but what does Rahm do? He stands up and starts cracking them right in front of Obama.
