The hotel I am at is located at a very nice place. High rock right by the ocean. Plus they have 1 week for fire works championship. Salalah blooms in summer time only.

as for the job, you can try it 5 months, but then what! Back to Uni if it doesnt work?
The job sounds more tempting and has better future than the Uni one. ANd as for not working in your domian, well who does anyway!
Ya Salalah's temptation is summer time indeed. Ah seems like your job involves a lot of traveling, thats nice. What do you do? You work in sales or something?

No i can't go back to work in the uni thats the thing, they gave me until tomorrow to make up my mind. The thing with the uni, is that other than it paying more, i can work there for as long as i like.

Not sales. Technical. I look after the server's health for our customers.
Travel is 50/50 not all the time which is good.

looks like your heart is leaning towards Uni.
I suggest salat estikhara then twakal 3ala Allah with whatever your heart wants.

Bavaria, the Dutch brand? It tastes of honey, don't you think?

A book about what?
I'll get back to you on the first one. 2.5 seconds.

And i dunno about your life I guess, everyone seems to be doing it these days. You always seem to have something witty to say. Or you could do one of those 101 things to try/save your life/worst case scenario/random information books. Everyone seems to be writing one of those for a little extra coin these days.

Edit: Not sure about honey but it is definitely sweeter than an elephant.

I hear there's little money to be made writing books, unless you actually get lots of readers. Otherwise you operate at a loss, because you have to front money to the publisher that you never make up. Unless you self-publish, but then you don't get your book to any bookstore cause you have no connections.

Let's try another beer and see if your ideas get better.

Beer's overrated. It's nice every now and again but definitely not thinking material. And on that note I'm about to peace out to the store my dutch brother.

PS. You should still write a book.

and?

Thanks guys. Andy, you make a good point, but risk management isn't really my domain, i never studied finance and i'm already doing a masters degree in HR, so even if i do get the permanent job after 5 months, how much can i develop in a field that i am not specialized in?
most people work jobs they werent trained for in college, a job is a means to make money, aint nothing passionate about wither HR or risk management, go for the dough
