My new job will involve analyzing trends in issues for our new and existing printers and collate all info and case logs, and help in the long process of finding fixes for them. I'll eventually have to deal with individual printers and specialize in them.

I won't deal with the customers directly anymore. But I'll still be involved in the support process, as I'll be contributing towards analyzing issue trends, and also creating documents and utilities for support needs.
