Hang in there swag... you are gonna get over it :D
I'm sure I'll be fine once I get started again. But if you've been out of the regular cycle of going to work every weekday morning, it seems like a rough adjustment. :D

Oh man, you don't wanna just jump into that. You wanna do some soul searching first, find yourself, go to India, relax :D

Damn, there are economic signs things are turning around in the SF Bay Area at least. I could get as many as two job offers within the next week, and in the past two weeks new opportunities have been coming out of the woodwork looking for me.

My days as a Man of Leisure are really in short supply now.

i dont think they meant blowjobs when they came out with those recovery numbers :pumpkin:

I was in India (New Delhi/Agra/Gurgaon) for two weeks this time last year. Man, as nasty as the heat is this time of year, I really want to go back. You don't know how much this gringo loved that place. :D

And I've been working in software almost as long as Maldini has been a milanista. I don't outright code anymore, as I became management over a decade ago and they removed my brain as part of the process.

I'm finished with school a week from tomorrow and my exams end on the 17 of June.

what kind of IT? just any old kind or something specific you're looking for?
This course. More specifically, I don't know yet but I have a few years to figure it out.

correction...

Social event = drinking for the sake of it. :D
I draw a distinction between going out to drink and going out to hang out with people and have a drink while there.

Not going to look for a job? :D

I'll keep working in the Bar though the summer.

Have fun with those exams.

Yeah. I'm (hopefully) going here to do I.T.
That looks good. Have you applied already? Or waiting for a responce?

I've been meaning to go there for five years now. But I've since learned last year that it's become a hip college tourist beach party hangout, so I'm afraid I have to put those plans on ice until all the hype blows over.

(My reasons for going was that it's more of a laid back college town-type area, more relaxed than São Paulo and Rio, and Santa Catarina is loaded with Azores immigrant influence, which is my wife's background.)

It's mind-blowing. :D
