private health care centers/hospitals are not allowed in Belgium, only public? seems like a strange country, different definition of gross wages to the row, strange rules on healthcare..
We're confusing public healthcare services with public healthcare in general here.
In Belgium almost all doctors have private practices. Their services howevere are covered for the most part by the state. Whatever of their costs that remains (usually less than 20% of the initial fee) is covered by your healthcare insurance. You net bill is often 0 over here.
