private health care centers/hospitals are not allowed in Belgium, only public? seems like a strange country, different definition of gross wages to the row, strange rules on healthcare.. :D

We're confusing public healthcare services with public healthcare in general here.

In Belgium almost all doctors have private practices. Their services howevere are covered for the most part by the state. Whatever of their costs that remains (usually less than 20% of the initial fee) is covered by your healthcare insurance. You net bill is often 0 over here.

I go to europe about a dozen times a year, it's ok for a few days but i just can't handle more, I'm sure you love it but it's just not for me. Asia, on the other hand...
I love Europe for one reason really: diversity. If I drive 300 km to the East I am in Germany, if I drive 300 km to the South I am in France, if I drive up North I am in Holland. Very different cultures very nearby.

I definitely agree with this, and its why I like spending my holidays in Europe, been doing it for the past three years.

Yes wages are higher and we don't have to pay as much taxes as f.e. @Zacheryah. But in the end of the month there's not much left, due to the expensive rents, food and everything.

And for 1450€ you may get a 80-90m² 3 room in provincial towns or in the suburbs.

You'd prefer the more expensive Banker area, or the suburbs, or the HalliGalli redlight area, or the area of families and old aged people, or the industrial area? :shifty:
damn

We have a loan for our new house that is 1133/month over 25 years for a house thats isolated into oblivion, solar panels that produce more then comes in,5m² water tank that connects to toilet and washmachine, 8x3m garden and 2 stories high, both fully finished

Think we have 150m² total space

Hung out with some people I haven't seen for almost a decade.

Go over to old friend's house. His girlfriend is a vegan and apparently she has a cat that is also a vegan too  Never seen a shittier looking cat. Its fur looked ragged, it barely moved or looked at anyone. Was curious about the mental gymnastics this basic bitch was playing so I asked her about it, she got all giddy and went on explaining to me that vegans putting their cats on a vegan diet is now a thing because cats can be cruelty free too.

People are insane.
