Some companies here do that, but only if you work full time. A guy I know broke his hand on the job and got everything paid for, full pay etc. But not everywhere has the same benefits and if you only work part-time you get an insulting amount of compensation if you injure yourself while working, no paid sick time, none of that.

Sorry to hear though, hopefully it starts to feel better sooner rather than later. What do you do that ended up causing that injury?

This sucks tho. 11 stitches and maybe even the possibility of minor surgery if the light numbness in two of my finger tips doesn't subside by Monday. Ah well, at least I can watch every Juve game live for the next month or so. Then I have a holiday to Hawaii in April for two weeks
