Have you tried being unemployed?
This. Hating work is a part of working. Most people start missing work within two weeks-two months of unemployment.

In most modern societies not having a job is socially and mentally stressful. A big part of our identity arrives from our job/career.

The "I hate working" automatic reaction is pathetic.

Yeah, I'm on week 2 of the mandatory 2.5 week holiday vacation and it sucks.

:agree:

Being unemployed for a few months really puts thing into perspective. It's healthy to try, but glad I haven't tried it for more than a few months.

Yea and that's why I hate working. No more than a series of facades and spineless cowards, and ya best believe I don't want to surround myself with such individuals. Can't identify myself with a job or a career, can't limit my greatness to just that, man's gotta respect himself and if this respects source is his employment then man is weak and feeble.

On the contrary, I actually loved being jobless. When I took the 6-month sabbatical last year or so, I enjoyed it more than I'd wanna admit to. Searching for a job was a bigger chore as a lot of efforts led to nothing. I caught a lucky break and found a job, but I still don't enjoy it as much as I want to. I feel like taking another break like that sometime very soon.
