Dude, the price point for the Silvia is as low as I think you can go for respectable home espresso. Anything less than that, you may as well stick with a $20 Moka stovetop.

Just make sure you also get a decent burr grinder.

I get my local coffee pusher to take care of the beans. He's such a coffee nerd. Told him about my machine, my budget and what type of coffee I liek. Instantly found soem decent priced beans that have been a hit in my household.

Btw. the moka stovepot. I love it. A bit cheesy but there's soemthing romantic about getting your coffee brewed in it. Hipster coffee I guess.

This. Hating work is a part of working. Most people start missing work within two weeks-two months of unemployment.

In most modern societies not having a job is socially and mentally stressful. A big part of our identity arrives from our job/career.

The "I hate working" automatic reaction is pathetic.
:agree:

Being unemployed for a few months really puts thing into perspective. It's healthy to try, but glad I haven't tried it for more than a few months.
Yeah, I was unemployed for the first 3 months after I moved here (not by choice, but because the company I work for didn't have any openings here right away, so I had to wait). The novelty and "fun" part of it wore off after a few weeks. Besides the money aspect, at this age work is usually the primary way of making friends.

On a positive note. Won't be hungover.

New Years is the biggest load of BS if you ask me. Pubs are always too packed full of amateurs who can't drink for shit and get way too excited about the whole whole thing

Most overrated day in the year, people always expect something amazing and in the end it's worse than normal party.

:agree: New Year's eve is always my most calm 'party' of the year. I despise the hype. Any random friday night at the local pub > New Year's Eve

Precisely :agree:

I'll go for a few pints with my uncle then head home before town goes too crazy, cry into my pillow girlfriend and doze off before the countdown

You say it right man! :p

Fuck the modern society, power to the people, live free, drink more, have sex do drugs and travel, that's the best thing.

I've been a year from work. Then I haven't worked for 3-4 months for some times and traveled and I haven't missed going to work for a second those times. But one has to work to be able to do all those things...
Cheers to that!

Can't wait till its my time to travel, I wanna check out @Bianconero81 too :D
