The perfect pour takes 119.5 seconds. The remaining time is for the geriatric serving you to shuffle back with it :depressed:

The old ways are dying.
an egyptain friend of mine went to ireland as she was working in google and she loved Guinness a great deal :) amongst other things the day she moved to brazil she just begged to go back to what she calls Home ---> ireland :D

All kinds. I honestly haven't found a form of coffee I haven't loved ... except for the stuff they disguise under layers of whipped cream and flavored syrup. So that includes Turkish coffee, Italian espresso, filter-drip coffee, South Indian Madras-style coffee, Vietnamese coffee (though the condensed milk gets way too sweet for me), Cuban coffee, Ethiopian coffee served from a jabena...

I haven't spent enough time in the Arab world to appreciate the many variances and hospitalities inherent there, and you can't get more "coffee" than that. Hence why I'm really looking forward to a coffee with you in Cairo someday.

I've had Arabian coffee here in SF, made by a Palestinian, which includes a little bit of spice like the cardamom you specifically mention. It's excellent and I always order it when I come across it:

(And yes, this is a blog post of mine from 7 years ago, but back then he got his coffee from Egypt too. :))
