Unless they simplify the song writing drastically I don't think such an explosive sound is possible. It would sound messy and blurr out alot of the details that the older Mastodon albums, despite drying up the songs, really brought forward in the mix.

Hope there are some epic solos too. The solos on the The Czar, The Hunter and Oblivion are like the closest things to Jimmy Page solos since Jimmy Page
