what are your views on Villareal's Riquelme. I like him much more than Rosicky etc mentioned in the playmaker question. we could offer Tacchi in exchange and maybe bring Arsenal's Edu for free. dreaming of Cassano in Juve shirt but it's a long way to make that happen.

I wouldn't say he's overrated as he certainly seems to be producing for Villareal, but I just do not think he would fit at Juventus. He is certainly no Totti who can do it all.

Riquelme is a big yes. If barca are stupid enough to take tacchinardi, plus cash IMO, for him, then Moggi would have done well. Barca have been after tacchinardi for some time now, why, im not too sure to be honest, but yeah..give him away. Throw in Montero or tudor if they wont:D

Why would Villareal accept this? Why do we think that Riquelme would fit at Juventus? I don't think he would.
why not?even Barca wanted Tacchi before.
any way Riquelme is a fantastic player who IMO would fit at Juve.

of course it would be +cash deal but I'd still prefer him over Rosicky. Pizarro would be good also. If your so eager to criticise so bring opinions to the table. Mutu for playmaker position?

Barca want Tacchi (or they did before they brought in Albertini) and Barca have said they don't want Riquelme.

So it's not as unbelieveable as it sounds.

Personally, I don't think it would ever happen, I can't see Moggi going for someone like Riquelme.
