He's a big game player. Same story, he performs well (and scores) in a big CL game, starts the next Serie A game, plays mediocre and people want to sell him again.
He isn't great in very tactical or closed games. You definitely can't expect him to hold the shape of the team together like Locatelli does, for example. That's why/when people complain about him.
But play him to his strengths (lots of open spaces to run into, somewhat free role), and he's basically impossible to stop. He's so unpredictable at times that opponents have difficulty anticipating his moves.
Man, this guy has totally won me over. Juve tried to get rid of him so hard yet this guy keeps coming back and does his thing. He had a great season last year and it seems he can repeat that this year.
If he does good this year he really deserves that contract.
He doesn’t cause off field drama like fagioli did with his gambling and then his instagram posts and documentary.
He doesn’t cause on field drama with celebrations telling people to shut up like dusan.
He doesn’t get into fights with his coach like bonucci did . He doesn’t lock sports director in toilet stall for trying to sell him like Tiago did to secco.
Guy just is good vibes and loves playing the game. We should all be happy to have a player like him in the squad
Didn't fully appreciate him when he was here, but indeed it appears the article writer was right in that we have found the US version of him. Weston McKennie, the American Sami Khedira?

Come on, Khedira was a proper midfielder. Even if somewhat lazy, he was head and shoulders above McKennie in the actual position he’s supposed to play.
