At an individual level he did fine, he gets a goal and kept the ball alive for the second.

At a tactical level it was a mess having him a LB. His positioning was all over the place and it often had a knock on impact on the positions the rest of the defence took up. But that's not really on him, that's on Motta. He's not a LB and filled in there to help the team with no complaints. We got the win and it has helped Cambiaso get eased back, so it has worked out. But I hope we don't see him in that position again.

Not his fault really, but we've seen similar performances at LB from Kostic too last year. We badly need to find a solution for that position. Not some Cabals or RBs, wingers or midfielders. Find a real quality LB.
