Exactly. We need players who can attack 90 mins with flair and fancy ...as stupid as it sounds. This team is waaaay too slow and static. Something int he lines of Coman, Morata Berardi would be interesting...sadly...all those 3 are very young and lack xperience to guide this team on all fronts. But i prefer to risk it and try at least morata and coman instead of relying on llorente.
Yes they are, its a combination of tactics, with form, with lack of hunger and even a mater of age/performance.
We need younger attackers who can take the bull by the horns and carry the team, while the midfielders stay as midfielders and the fullbacks stay as defenders instead of the pseudo wingers we re trying to deploy. We need cohesion at the back...but since our attack lacks..we re sending our fullbacks and midfielders to the front without any sort of paln or idea.... then we are exposed because we all know our CB are the not the most quick or skilled.
As long as we continue neglecting younger players who can attack wide...we will continue suffering.

Well, that's the problem right there. Who is available?
You would have to find an Attacking Midfielder who is playing at a mid level club.
Given the recent history, the only mid table clubs that Juve deal with are in Serie A.

Thats why i think he wll do ok. he is not done... but i think our problems lie deeper than just getting a band aid like him. Our attck really lacks as a whole. Im not sure if one man will do the trick...when we have players like llorente who are not helping the team like he should...or someone like Licht who is day after day looking moe like a misfit in that RB position.
I don't think he's done either. That's why I see these comments about him being worth only 2-3 million and I just scratch my head. No offense @Ocelot
I think he could help in Serie A, and could actually take the pressure off of Tevez to not have to play so far back all the time.
I would have preferred Shaquiri if I had an inkling of them switching to a more winger based formation next year.
At this point though, the midfield is better served with Pogba-Marchisio-Vidal with Sneijder in front of them, than the current setup where you have Vidal playing out of place as a Trequartista, and Pirlo being constantly exposed out there.
I won't jump for joy if he arrives, but I can kinda, sorta see how this would help a couple of positions at one time. Too bad it wouldn't be for the CL, though

I actually think 4312 isn't bad but basic thing that Allegri has to do is to remove Pirlo and place there Marchisio. It'll be much more balanced that way since Marchisio is pretty damn good at reading the game and defending. Him and Vidal playing a little bit deeper with Pogba/AM playing closer to Tevez and Llorente/CF would guarantee us being very solid at the back but also able to bring up a proper number of players upfront.
Imagine Marchisio and Vidal in front of Chiellini and Bonucci. Also with Marchisio as DM Pereyra could play B2B easily. I can't see Pereyra near Pirlo though.
But let's be honest: Allegri won't bench Pirlo for good, he's too small for that. Given that Sneijder mustn't come or we'll collapse in a spectacular way.
