he looked shaky on occaision, and we've all seen him play good games at roma before.

i'll only judge him in the long run.if he maintains and improves on his performances then a RB might not be needed after all.otherwise i don't mind giving birindelli a go.

the defence looks very strong aerially, while buffon has hardly been tested yet.

squad wise milan and inter are without doubt stronger.it's a matter of time before the rossoneri get the engine running and shift up to second gear, while i predict inter will struggle against weak opposition but raise their game against rivals.

Juve has a dismal record against strong opposition, and truth be told we've probably had the easiest opening three matches of any title contender.

if we want to win the title we'll need points against the big boys,we'll have to win those top of the table six-pointers.because even if we take care of mediocre opposition if we lose to our rivals there's very little we can do to keep up with them except hope they slip up.

Inter is not going to win anything this season...!! there is no organization in there game.. I saw the games against Bremen and Palermo.. I can tell you , that we should not be woried about Inter... they have to wait another 20 years to win the scudeto..

The defence has been extremely solid thus far, but I wanna see how it holds up against Milan and Bayern. However, credit where its due, and the back four have been doing a great job up to now. Zebina has been a very pleasant surprise so far, Zambrotta is still the world's best not to mention most consistent left-sided full back, and the Thuram-Cannavaro partnership has what it takes to become one of the best central defensive duos this club has seen in recent times.

As far as I'm concerned the midfield is the weakest area. It still lacks creativity and because of this we're very predictable at times. As those of you who have witnessed our matches so far this season can testify, we look most dangerous down the left with Zambrotta, Nedved and Del Piero combining to good effect, but apart from Trezeguet's strike against Brescia, all of our goals have come from pieces of individual brilliance or set pieces rather than team moves.

We already know that Trezeguet is going to score goals, but two of his three goals have been created by defensive errors which we won't always be able to rely on, so DP and Zlatan will have to step up a bit.

I agree, our team lacks creativity..they're not as spectacular as Milan or Arsenal. We haven't been scoring great goals...unexpectedly its been our defence that's really been winning us these games. Its not giving the opponent much instead of bombardments of attack that we have won.

Midfield we have nedved and emerson but it seems we lack the movement, I'm not sure its only in midfield it might well be the lack of off the ball movemnet from our forwards. We should have held on to miccoli.

But I guesss it would hurt to get another attacking midfielder, with more creativity. That's Why I do hope we get Jankulovski in January...he's been great for udinese this season.

I agree about the left side, we always look dangerous whenever Zambro and Pavel combine down the left by carving out lovely passes to eachother until some space opens up.

I'm really concerned about our right side though. Zebina hasn't looked bad in his performances at RB, but his consistency hasn't been proven and he's not much of an attacking fullback in the first place.

Camoranesi makes me wanna pull out my hair and light it on fire with his slow, unnecessary dribbling and often horrible passing.

Olivera has shown promise, but we've seen that he's not consistent, and finally Zlatan still needs time to settle in, and so far it still looks like he's trying too hard to prove himself by doing fancy tricks.

So the current situation on our right side is that we have 3 new players who aren't fully accustomed to our style of play yet, and our other option is the most inconsistent player I've seen in a long time. That, for me, could well be a liability that other teams exploit in the future.

Jankulovski would help a great deal, but we'd have to sacrifice a defensive midfielder for him. We'd probably concede a few more goals, but we'd also score more and play better football. This is what I'd like to see in the future.

Buffon
Zebina Thuram Cannavaro Zambrotta
Olivera Emerson Jankulovski
Nedved
Trezeguet Del Piero

Our left side would be so damn amazing with Zambrotta, Jankulovski, Nedved and Del Piero.

Camo and Olivera have to come more into the games because right now we're relying solely on Nedved. I'm sure they would if they could find the space you're talking about, but they need someone to help them find space like how DP and Neddy open up room for Zamboy down the left.

Nedved on Jankulovski:

Disappointed that Jankulovski has not arrived?

"He's only late, you'll see he will join us. It seemed a done deal, then the president Pozzo(Udinese) blocked the negotiations. Marek wants Juve, that's why he refused a lot of money to go to Moscow. A lot more than he will ever have in Italy."

:D

Govou of Lyon. I am watching him right now against Toulouse, and he has so many good moves with the ball! He reminds me somewhat of C. Ronaldo even.

What do you guys think of him?

He could be a very good sub, but how much would he cost? And if I was him I'd rather stay at Lyon or go to a club that could guarantee me first team football rather than a Juventus side who can choose from Del Piero, Trezeguet and Ibrahimovic in attack.

I really hope so as he'd add alot to our midfield. Depth, versatility, quality. His relationship with Nedved would offer alot to the team, both on and off the pitch.
