on the topic;- zebina has impressed me already this season and if zebina isnt such in a fine form i would have picked Birindelli to start any day of the wek..he is a consistent diciplined player.......and i dun buy people saying Birindelli cant offer much to attack....he might not go up as much as Zambrotta ( which is good coz zamrotta goess up way too much for another defender to follow his foot step....), but he can provide width and deliver good croses when he needed to..

and about the rigt winger..i have exausted all my support on Mauro Camoranesi.. i dun believe he is good enough anymore for our team... Olivera was way more fuctional ...we will now need to find another wide and wide right sided player to cover for oliviera.... wonder if Moggi still have the mood to screw Roma and snatch Mancini

but it's quite a waste of talent to put him on the bench and i don't think he'd fit into the first team.the french league is some way below serie a's standard,especially defensively.

I think defensive they are all equal, but Oddo is much better in attack. But it would be a lot of money to spend on a sub, and Oddo isn't exactly secure when defending.

Depending on how Camoranesi and Olivera do this season we could look at making a move for him then, because a good right-sided mid could come in useful given Camo's mad inconsistency and Olivera's unproven status.

@Amr: Forget about Cristiano Ronaldo, there's no way Man Utd will sell one of the world's most exciting talents just like that, and having Oddo and Zambrotta as full backs could be dangerous since both of them attack frequently.

Zebina has been solid thus far and is IMO competent enough. So too is Birindelli. As for a right winger, I'd go for Marchionni of Parma. He's considerably cheaper than Joaquin and more realistic than Wright-Phillips, plus he's proven in Serie A.

Agreed. Imo Birindelli is one of the most underrated right backs around.
