1992 they failed to qualify for the EURO, Yugoslavia was 1st in their qualifying group, but UEFA didnt let Yugoslavia participate because of the wars in Croatia and Bosnia, so Denmark went and won it. that was an amazing achievment by the danes, but it was also unfair from UEFA to ban Yugoslavia. they would have had a great team (if all players would want to play). they had great players from around Europe and then add the players from the CL winning Red Star Belgrade team and they would looked frightening. they could have gotten atleast one title in the 90s with all the great players they had...
