And i'm watching the WC since 86 but what does this have to do with anything i said? Yes, they're playing better. Wheen did i say they weren't? in fact i said all big teams were only shadows of what they once were.

Even this Netherlands is nothing compared to the 74/78', 88' and 94' teams. They got Robben/Van Persie and that's it. France? This generation would be humiliated in any other time in Football history. Costa Rica is the product of what modern Football has become. Chile is a good team but still would struggle in other decades. Germany is the only one with the individuals that might equal some of the best they had yet they can't beat Ghana...
You're old, dude. I started watching in '90.

Since you've declared a war on me it was only the matter of time that you will be humiliated and demoted

Suicide. I am dead today. Didn't want to wake up. Im rooting for France, Columbia or Chile. Holland is ok but Van Persie is a cunt. I would love to see Deschamps and Pogba do well, Chile for Vidal.
Definitely rooting for France. Benz, DD & Pogs.

The 90,94 & 98 were the best WC's in a row IMO.

Certainly true. The WC's since the Millennium have been pure trash for the most part.
Well as @CrimsonianKing so eloquently put it, the days of players with technical quality in abundance have gone & we certainly are seeing a more team ethic mentality in football these days. I'm just glad I was able to see the likes of Baggio, Batistuta, Del Piero, Romario, Ronaldo etc grace the field. That sense of magic has certainly disappeared in modern football.

Romario  The man was a genius in the penalty area, a football god, and even better he was honest as S&%&, and wild.. He basically said that football came second to partying and having a good time.
