Yeah, you obviously know the only reason they're bitching is because Italy got kicked out. A couple days ago this was "the best WC evaaa". Look how biased people here are. They won't even admit Marchisio's foul was a red card. A lot of them are also pissed so many Euro teams are playing like shit.

I still think it's an amazing world cup and if it feels like any team can win it, that means that it's being done right. No one likes watching a competition being dominated by one team except for gloryhunters who want a reason to feel better than others.

I'm still enjoying this World Cup, I don't mind that Italy is going its just upsetting the way they were sent home. Anyways a lot of big boys are going home Spain, Italy, England, most likely Portugal. The Europeans just couldn't do it in Brazil, I except France, Holland and Germany to slow down soon as well. A South American team is definitely going to win this thing, I just hope it's Chile but its most likely going to be Brazil or Argentina.

Actually i feel sad to find out so many here are sore losers. One has to know when to accept defeat, there's nothing wrong with that. I understand being mad, as i definitely will be if my country gets eliminated. But i won't lose my common sense and blame stuff that has nothing to do with anything ,as a pathetic excuse as to why we didn't make it.

SA teams will always have a bigger advantage on this side of the World and Europeans will always have better odds in European soil. It's been like this since day one, why the fuck is anyone surprised i don't know.

And blame modern Football for what we're seeing. Big teams getting raped by underdogs. There are no Maradonas, Romários or Zidanes anymore.

A team like Brazil or Argentina or Netherlands would never concede 3,4 goals against the likes of Iran, Costa Rica and such, 20, 30 years ago.

Individual technicality is way past it's day, instead we see collectivity and physicality. Meaning a team with no real technical quality but that can work well as an organized collective mind can beat anyone, can make anyone struggle. That's how football is now.

Is it good? Well, underdogs have caught up with the big fishes. But the big fishes are nothing but shadows of the quality they had in the past.

Football is more entertaining than ever yet is in it's worst period in history.

Definitely saw Italy getting eliminated, it had Galatasaray-Juve kinda feel for me, i went ahead and just slept for this match. Since day 1 I expected that Uruguay will be going through, of course Costa Rica suprised everyone.

The only thing that gets me sad is seeing Buffon, Pirlo and Barza to go out like that. Other than that, I expect Brazil to still win it all the way, sad that would mean that Chile must go out, I really want them to go far as well.

I hope Colombia can go far, Argentina to lose early! *uck Messi!

If Brazil continues to play this cr@p the only way winning the tournament will be with the referees assistance. So, don't be so amused with pointing out that many are sad because of Italy. Keep in mind that in the semis Brazil will most probably play with the winner from France/Germany QF. In the final will be most probably someone from the SF Argentina/Netherlands.

I will be rooting for Chile, Belgium, Costa Rica, Netherlands, Colombia and France. Actually if a team that plays well wins the tournament I'll be happy and I won't be "butthurt".

And i'm watching the WC since 86 but what does this have to do with anything i said? Yes, they're playing better. Wheen did i say they weren't? in fact i said all big teams were only shadows of what they once were.

Even this Netherlands is nothing compared to the 74/78', 88' and 94' teams. They got Robben/Van Persie and that's it. France? This generation would be humiliated in any other time in Football history. Costa Rica is the product of what modern Football has become. Chile is a good team but still would struggle in other decades. Germany is the only one with the individuals that might equal some of the best they had yet they can't beat Ghana...
