Meh. I have nothing against respecting your opposition and defending as a unit considering your superior opposition, but there has to be a certain limit and awareness to attack your opponent until it gets hopeless and boring. I was happy when they conceaded.
Didn't see the game but from the highlights Iran had 3-4 decent chances if not for the keeper pulling off solid saves.

Russia vs Belgium might be interesting. Also US vs Portugal seems decent, because of Portugal mostly, they'll give their all to get back into race for that 2nd spot; Americans are simply dreadfully untalented so I predict trashing.
RUS vs Zach. That's always interesting.

Not really. I support my nation but hate how they play. We got no organisation , no team and mostly no yactics. Eighter the individual skill will be to much for russua, and they are bad in that case.
Or the russianc lock down the CM and hurt us

pirlo alone had a 100 passes in italy's first game, the whole iranian team could only muster 130 of them. This has nothing to do with effectiveness, it's a joke a team would have 130 passes all game long.
That's an improvement, because they had 19 passes in the opening 24 minutes, when they first showed this statistic. And they still have a realistic chance to qualify if Argentina and Nigeria play a fair game, which I believe will happen.

That hilarious cunt Maradonna was stating today "that big nations get advantages from Fifa"

Reason was that Iran had 7 players dopingtested instead of 2 cause they werent tested before the world cup, and he found that absurd.

Sure, small teams get disadvantages, like that penalty Iran should have gotten against your nation mister coke another line

It was a good yactic.
shut it nancyboy, i was on my smartphone, typo's happen

Pretty bad matches today. Belgium is the only one interesting but even that one can be skipped IMO.
dont count on that becomming a good game.

Capello will lock down the central midfield, the wingers will move to the center cause they want to have the ball, clogging the playfield, the forward will be on an island and the cam will be locked in.

Unless Belgium can somehow score after a russian fuckup with an individual action, its going to be a boring game that showcases why 11 individuals without a collective, is a recipe for early exit

What are you talking about? The games today are much better than yesterday.
Neither Belgium nor Russia plays well, or enjoyable. Despite Belgium's talent they fail to impress me and I've seen them in qualifying rounds as well.

South Korea - Algeria? No thanks.

The game at midnight is decent, although both teams play bad.

Belgium - Russia -> Possible RUS tears
USA - Portugal -> Possible swag tears

It's a no-brainer, really! :p

But seriously, on paper Germany-Portugal was probably better than today's games, but Russia-Belgium and USA-Portugal are interesting games that are very difficult not to predict.
