And that's the wrong thinking, wrong mentality to put it simply. You push until you have even the slightest chance of advancing, and should not satisfy for the win, that is purely pro forme.

That's the thing Seven and Alen are trying to say, i believe
I'm not defending it I'm just saying that it is not uncommon among small teams at big tournaments. In fact Australia didn't just sit back, they did push forward a little and even looked like scoring twice.

I think us qualifying and Belgium, his real country, didn't, and will probably cease to exist, is pissing him off enough.
Your best player is Landon Donovan tipped to be the next Mickey Mouse.

Our best player is Eden Hazard tipped to be the next Zidane.

That you can qualify for the world cup by beating Trinidad and Tobago and can reach the second round by beating Algeria and getting a draw from Slovenia is hardly an achievement. The qualifiers are tougher than that in Europe FFS.

Are you playing then?
Not for an official team, but I did two weeks ago. Just because you don't have a team at the moment doesn't mean you're finished playing. Again, common sense, yo. Lacking. Big time.

Ottmar Hitzfeld hasn't played for decades... I guess you know more about the game than him!

So you're playing.. but you're not on a team? Great.

Hitzfeld didn't stop playing at the tender age of 18, Andy.

Belgium made it out of the group stages last time too. And do the US always reach the 2nd round? What about 2006? Or 1998?

They aren't valid points. Lets all pity Belgium for residing in Europe. Aww, poor soon-to-be-defunct country.
You know more about football than I do, but you mock me because I say Hazard is considered one of the greatest prospects by many

It's fucking ZIDANE who said so
