I would love for an African team to do well, but I don't see it happening; with Essien and most likely Drogba out for both Ghana and the Ivory Coast respectively (not to mention the tough groups they have been placed in) I see both teams crashing out in the 1'st round. South Africa are a joke, and Algeria will self destruct.

Only Nigeria seem to stand a change of making it to the quarters if they make it through their group and get a favourable round of 16 opponent.
