It's not like the Slovaks are any better. In 10 out of 11 positions (or 11/11 if you compare De Rossi with Hamsik), Italy has better players.
Obviously, it means shit as seen today, but if things click then Italy can easily beat the Slovaks.

Plus, have in mind that Slovakia has nothing to defend. They will also need a win (they will probably qualify with a win) so they won't defend with 10 as Paraguay and NZ did against Italy. That will leave more space for Italy's wide players.

Pazzini sucks but Italy need a finisher up there and he is better than Miccoli when it comes to that. Pazzini and Cassano pair was a proven one. Lippi shouldn't have ignored it so easily like that.
