Not only that but I sometimes get the impression that people didn't follow serie A at all in the last 2 seasons where Sanchez had nothing more than a good month and a half in the end of last season.
I get the impression that people here have no idea how annoying he was, just like Zarate, with his never ending dribbling attempts and raping of the ball, which resulted with nothing but frustration of the Udinese fans most of the time.
The world cup, where consistency isn't required, is where players like Zarate, Quaresma or Sanchez can leave a nice impression by being fancy, especially when they play against inferior defenders which they never face in serie A and rarely in CL.
What separates Sanchez from the others mentioned though, is his work rate. I like that. That means that with (much) more discipline in his game, he can actually make it at the big stage because his talent is undeniable.
