forza iaquinta... the warrior from calabria!! :p
IMO he will do well for us, he has the will to succeed, and people from calabria are known to be hard headed, so he wont give up on succeedin so easily
I find the Calbrese make their bread too airy, and that crust is hard to get through with one's incisors. But it's good with olive oil, I'll give 'em that.

Iaquinta wil succeed in a Juventus jersey, mark my words.

I've never rated Iaquinta as world class, but I'm not too bothered with us signing him, as long as he's not supposed to be Trezeguet's replacement.

It's not wrong for him to want to move on, but it is wrong for Iaquinta to stir up trouble within the locker room and force his way out during the middle of a season. He wanted a January transfer as I recall and was trying to force his way out, and the board decided to bench him as punishment for his antics... like I said before, the club owns Iaquinta and if he screws things up at the club they reserve the right to punish him. That's the end of the story really.

He could have waited until the season's end instead of trying to force his way out right square in the middle of the proceedings. And the Bosman case is quite different from this one, Seven.
Not really. The Bosman case illustrated players had the right to go to another club if their contract ended. Iaquinta wanted to do the same and was benched in return. And in the end, after loads of pressure from Udinese, he even signed a contract with them. Perhaps Iaquinta could have shown some better composure, but Udinese are just as much at fault.

First, calm down.

And now to the point, I don't know what dirty work you're talking about, I'm guessing I misunderstood this. I was just saying how I disliked the fact that Deschamps never gave Bojinov a chance, and everyone knows that Bojinov's performances in his first few months made him well-worthy of another chance.

Whatever, when the dust settles we have Iaquinta now. I'm looking forward: fuck the past, hope for the best; now calm the hell down, and let's give it a rest. :p

EDIT: Did you negative rep me? Christ, I didn't know you were so passionate. And oh yeah, happy birthday.
stop telling me to Calm down. I am calm are you?

If you claim it's all his manager that doing the dirty work for him, while he is innocence, then it is not any different from that. you think he can't control his own fucking manager, that works for him??
Are you sure? This is the problem with the Internet, I don't know if you're right pissed or what.

It's a simple formula guys. Iaquinta runs like a fiend, gets the ball, and then puts the ball in the net. He's been doing it with Udinese all this time with a skilled-to-a-certain-degree team backing him. He put in 14 goals in Serie A last season with support like Di Natale and Barretto. Imagine what he can do with someone like Del Piero or Diego beside or behind him.
