The reason why I and I think so many others are sceptical is because he is our FIRST signing. We know that other areas such as midfield and defence need bolstered more urgently. When we have signed (hopefully) a few quality players in these departments and we all feel safer about the squad next year I think Iaquinta will be seen as a good addition, something different, and a good plus to the squad next year. Times are tough just now as we await the signings of our more creative players in the midfield and players to bolster our shaky defence. Hopefully, when these much needed and vital players come in, we can all look back on this signing as a nice extra.

I agree that he is unlike many of the strikers Juve have had recently, but I disagree he is better than Trez in the air. Trez has scored some great headers for us and even some great headed assists. Should we keep trez or sign another box finisher then Iaquinta will provide some much needed competition, pace and strength, and also utility because he can play out wide.

he's probably not gonna stay, is he ?

i just gave him that number on fifa :p, i don't think we should automatically give strikers #9. After a scumbag like zlatan and a flop like bojinov #9 needs a break.
Boji wasn't a flop, he was never given the chance. There's a huge difference.

or because he isn't that special as you guys overrate him? If I am not mistaken, Fiorentina paid huge sum to sign him from Lecce, what did he do after leaving Lecce? If he is that special, why did Fiorentina loan him out anyway? Prandelli that you love is another idiot?

But you wanted Prandelli to come :D

Come on Vinman, he isn't that special. He will never be a world class striker that we are looking for, what's the point of keeping him? he will probably moan for not playing regular, well this is not the Bulgarian national team.

Those are happy with their Job, and doing what they are told to, you don't expect Zalayeta to save this team if they keep benching him all the time, man even with that, he is still scoring goals.

Bojinov is equal to God in Bulgaria, he is their hope, Will his ego let him accept staying at bench?

The guy scored 11 goals in Serie A while being age 18 and playing behind Vucinic. The kid was sick and has loads of talent... he just needs time to play. Zeman gave him more chances to do so than Prandelli at Viola and certainly more chances than our own Deschamps, so I won't rule him out just yet. He's only 21 and has shown far more potential than somebody such as Palladino has..

Hubner scored loads of goals too..

I know what he was doing at Lecce. We heard a lot about players like Caracciolo, Comandini, Lucarelli, Chevanton, those Italian players that we were frequently rumored to sign them, I am really tired now, I can give you a big list later. Those scored loads of goals too once upon a time, most of them turned out shits later. Maybe Bojinov is kinda better than them, but Fiorentina is aware they used their cash on the wrong person. They wouldn't loan him out or Sell his half whatever was the case if he was that special.

Not once did I ever hear a word out of Bojinov this season complaining about being on the bench. I only remember hearing his agent bitch and moan, and explain how Bojinov dreams of Barcelona. His ego and his confidence are for the most part quashed. That being said, I'll be the first one hoping he's a success somewhere else because he deserves it after the ridiculous treatment he received from everyone's favourite manager.

If you claim it's all his manager that doing the dirty work for him, while he is innocence, then it is not any different from that. you think he can't control his own fucking manager, that works for him??

First, calm down.

And now to the point, I don't know what dirty work you're talking about, I'm guessing I misunderstood this. I was just saying how I disliked the fact that Deschamps never gave Bojinov a chance, and everyone knows that Bojinov's performances in his first few months made him well-worthy of another chance.

Whatever, when the dust settles we have Iaquinta now. I'm looking forward: fuck the past, hope for the best; now calm the hell down, and let's give it a rest. :p

EDIT: Did you negative rep me? Christ, I didn't know you were so passionate. And oh yeah, happy birthday.
