I've come up with a Dummie's guide to "Secco's Juve":

First, you wait till there is speculation as to whether you'll extend your contract with your current team. You wait a couple of days or weeks while there is media frenzy surrounding the issue. You give in to their questions.

Then you 'surprisingly' resign with your current club and tell the media you did because "X team is better than Juventus". Sure enough, six months later you get a call from Secco & Co. This works out for both your team and yourself.

Nothing new coming from VDV, and I don't really wish to see him in a Juventus jersey.

Sure I know he is a captain of Ajax + Hamburg and is performing consistently for Netherlands and Hamburg this season. His creativity and his goals will definitely help us, but then again his character leaves something to be desired

1. Injury and controversy prone, with the latter disrupting team atmosphere. If for some reason Juventus doesn't perform, I can see VDV doing the same to Juve too, then he will say about joining a Spanish club, he likes England, he is homesick etc etc

2. I rather Juventus focus on Giovinco + Marchisio. I see VDV hampering Giovinco's progress,

3. If I'm a Hamburg fan or a Hamburg official, I will definitely be pissed off seeing VDV posing with a Valencia shirt and signing a Juventus shirt a few months later. VDV doesn't behave professionally as a footballer.

4. He stated that he wants to join Juventus so that he can beat Inter. This is definitely a welcoming news for Juventus fans. To be honest I will also be happy to hear this. But everybody knows that Zlatan and VDV are enemies. And both of them didn't make their deep rivalry a secret either. Somehow I see that before the Juventus and Inter game both players will hit out at each other again on the press and on the pitch, not something that I like to see in Juve players. I see this more like a personal agenda compared to his commitment in helping the team

I will not lose sleep if VDV doesn't join Juventus, but will definitely jump on Secco if Giovinco is gone for good
Okk first of all,did you went high, drunk or didnt slept last night??

1.Okk he might be injury prone, but who in our squad isnt? VDV is a player who makes and can make the difference, he did so with ajax while they didnt perform, he personally took Hamburg to an higher level and the same goes for the dutch national team!

2.Gio can learn much from VDV,why in the blue hell should VDV hamper Gio's progress? You really think Rainieri will play Gio as a starter next year? VDV can be Gio's mentor if Rainieri wants it to be ,but since he have tactics that match the IQ of a dead cow ,i wont see this happening.VDV and Gio are/can be both assist machines, isnt that what our team desperately needs?

3. Deal with it ,we all are pissed at Zlatan and Vieira are we? Zlatan quoted many times that he was an Inter fan during his childhood, even when he played for Juve. VDV is like a bog flirt but can you blaim him? He wanted too leave them like last year and now he plays kinda against his will, but still gives his best for the club and scores goals. So those fans should be happy that he performs so well.

4.Yes he wants to join Juve,we are still a big club with traditions and we are always where ever we be fighting for trophys. You are now talking about the lockerroom fight he and Zlatan had and maybe about the international match between Sweden and Holland. Yes this might be so,but isnt that what we want? Players who want and have the will to fight and win? We should have more of these players!!!! Iaquinta is one of those players who always play with his hearth. Maybe they both matured and forgotten it? If not then we have to wait and see dont we?

I really hope that he joins! He and Gio in our squad together would be awesome, i can allready dream about the assist Trezie will get but the thing is ,Dreams mostly stay dreams, Right Secco?

After have declared more than once his will to play in Juventus, yesterday, Rafael Van der Vaart (24) has confessed to the german daily Focus: "My favourite destination remain Valencia; and first of Italy there is also England".

The impression is that Alessio Secco presence in Hamburg has awaken the Ches' attention, that could have made to the dutch midfielder a good offer.

Another statement from VDV . :burke:
