That would have been a better investment.

Fucking assholes killing people and wasting our money. No idea how people could vote for the Republican party.

Ohhhh, now I remember. Because they're "morally superior" due to their religious stance. :gsol: :melayyanandmessi:

Screw Religion. You freaks are partly why I abandoned it.

I find it amusing to hear about all this adorable latent racism around the place. Like kids in Texas sent home from school for wearing Obama t-shirts and stuff like that. I mean he's a frickin presidential candidate, not Castro.
Are you serious about that?

It wouldn't surprise me. An elementary teacher from Florida wrote the N word on the board while talking about Obama, and last night I had a discussion with someone from a high school in North Carolina whose teacher was fired for bringing in a speaker who concluded, "Muslims are inhumane terrorists."

Now I'm watching some freak at a McCain rally claiming the socialists are taking over the country and Palestinians are running the show. Obama is in a sleeper cell, and so forth.

As I've said before, fine. Let this country die a miserable death. Some of these freaks deserve it for their stupidity.

Yeah. Can't find the story right now, but I saw it today. It's not the first time though, I've been seeing headlines like that for a while.

Meanwhile, here's a similar example (not of racism this time, but of knee jerk school reactions). Kid suspended from school, this time for wearing an anti-Obama slogan.

Here's what we should conclude from that scenario.

1) The Republicans have succeeded in equating Liberals with "bad people."

2) Anybody who names their son "Daxx" is a retard.

3) Dann Dalton is a retard.

Btw Andy I think you're too partisan (I know, look who's talking). Or maybe partisan isn't the right word, cause someone could hold loyalty with something other than a party. What I mean is you make wild generalizations to swipe Republicans with. It might not be what you mean, perhaps you mean particular Republicans. But as it stands, it's not a very convincing statement, because these things obviously don't apply to every Republican politician and every Republican voter.

For instance, Repubs aren't the only faction to run attack ads, as we recall Hillary's pathetic "3am phone call" scam.

True, but the attacks of mine apply to most. And it's due to their general ideology.

I don't consider myself a Democrat either, however. If you notice, I actually agree with the right-wing stance regarding market issues and forms of regulation.

Democrats are indeed capable of producing similar ridiculous ads, but they are far from what the Republicans put out in terms of sheer fear tactics and racism ploys. Never have the Dems put out ads so, so appalling. Anybody with some sense can see they are making such ads to make people believe Barack Obama is a terrorist.

I have to live with this crap everyday, so I'm extremely angry with what has happened in this country. That's probably why I come off as very partisan.

Right now, I just saw a whole crowd yelling Obama is a Muslim terrorist, so I'm fed up with this bullshit.

And to McCain's defense, he finally came out today to say people should be respectful of Obama. FINALLY, after a week of insults and sheer racism.

But when he stated this at a rally, his fans started to boo him. :howler:

Ohh man, this is GOLD.

Some woman at a rally said, "I'm afraid of Obama because he is an Arab."

McCain then responded by saying, "No, no mam. Obama is not an Arab. He's a good man. He's, he's not [an arab]"

Dissecting this response is alarming. I mean, McCain quickly denies that Obama is an Arab, but he doesn't say anything to quell the fears that Arabs are bad people. They could throw in any noun in the place of Arab, and it would sound the same.

"Obama is not a Nazi."

"Obama is not Osama Bin Laden."

"Obama is not Hannibal Lector."

"Obama is not an Arab."

You can see the way some people here think nowdays. :(

EDIT: here

I'm curious to know that if Arnold the governator was running for president, would he do well? what do people think of him in the states?
First off, it is impossible for him to become President. But if he was able, some folks would love him because the country has a fascination with movie stars, while others wouldn't approve because he has an accent and isn't like the rest of the population.

One could only imagine the attack ads in this scenario.

"Arnold had Nazi relations in Austria" comes to mind.

Okay, point number one. The current Rep nominee is McCain, so how could Arnold possibly be a worse candidate?

From what I understand his Cali victory was an opportunistic coup. Right place, right time. But as a politician he's fairly respected I think, even from both sides, so he'd probably do okay.
