What we saw in the Philly the other day is why people just cannot fully trust the police. Some wonder why people would hate the staff who supposedly protects you, but when 20 police officers brutally beat down three unconfirmed "cop killing" suspects, you have your answer.

This is why I hate the "nobody is worse than a cop killer" argument. It leads us to situations like these where the police take out there rage against "suspects," not actual perpetrators. But this is inherently human really.

Indeed, and putting someone in power is always dangerous. Even trifles like making someone a moderator all too often ends in abuse.

the article does no justice to those of us who do our jobs very well...why not start posting some articles about the officers who save lives, or catch the thief who robbed your house....or muderer your loved one....or isnt that exciting enough for you ?

This crap again? When they arrest a bad guy, why don't people say "well yeah this guy may have been a bad guy but what about all those other people out there who don't kill? what about them huh? If you trash this guy you're giving society as a whole a bad name".

Maybe because these cases are more important than the good name of the entire group. It would take a moron to jump to the conclusion that since there was one killer everyone is killing.
