We have the quantity, but do we have the quality?

But if we think about it, we'll have a decent defence next year. Its not the defence that we wish for but still its pretty good:

zibena(grygera)...mellberg(andrade)......Legro(criscito).....chiellini(De Ceglie)

that looks pretty good to me, but if our management want's to get us a quality defender (ex. zapata) its even bitter.......

It's a decent defence, but it's not a CL/Serie A challenging defence.

I don't think we'll get him in the summer, we allready have 10 defenders for next year "mellberg, andrade, chiellini, legro, criscito, De Ceglie, zebina, grygera, birindelli and molinaro". perhaps birindelli will retire next year, even so we still gonna have 9 defenders thats more than enough unless we sell some of them or loan them out.....

What makes you so sure that Andrade, Criscito, De Ceglie and Molinaro will be with us next year.

Criscito-- He is still to young and would be wise to send him to a smaller club so that he gains experience.

De Ceglie-- Secco isn't the most intellegent person so you never know what he will do, he can either loan him again or sell him.

Molinaro-- He lacks in both departments: defensive and offensive. So SELL HIM.

Andrade-- With his current injury we don't know if he will be able to perform 100% and sell him to some club in Portugal; Porto, Benfica, Sporting Lisbon.

and if you add Birindelli according to you than we would have only 5 defenders.

That's spot on. Ujfalusi is better than Legrottaglie and Stendardo, that's for sure. A healthy Andrade is another question though.

I say offload Grygera and bring in Ujfalusi, Tonetto and Zapata. That way we'll have a bunch of different options for the defense.

Zebina, Zapata, Ujfalusi, Andrade, Chiellini, Stendardo, Mellberg, Legrottaglie, Tonetto, De Ceglie. That gives us a bunch of options and cover in every position. But I doubt we'll be getting both Uja and Zapata.

Well since Andy mentioned it we should try and offer Grygera+Molinaro+$$= Zapata.

In my opion Molinaro isn't worth anything, but would surely lower the price of Zapata's value.

definetly zapata, i watched the other day palermo's game against liverno and i was really shoked by barzagli's performance, the guy almost gave liverno two easy goals!! I really don't get it why some people here want barzagli in juve he's average in my opinion ........

i beleive he will play better if he joins another club. he doesnt have motiation to play for palermo because the fans hate him
