I really think he is coming here. He tends to discuss Juve alot. Also the fact Nedved and Grygera are here is a huge factor. He will be a starter in our team for sure either as a CB or RB when Andrade returns to play CB.

if we can get him for a minimal cost that would be perfect and would fit with coboli's free/cheap philosophy.

A player of Ujfulai's calibre at zero dollars is of huge value, this deal should be tied down asap

I think we should give this current mgmt sometime as the previous mgmt is of a very high benchmark.

Dun think any of the clubs mgmt can matched the ruthless effciency and calculativess of the Triad (Moggi, Bettega and Giraudo). Although Morrati may disagree ...

The text says that we're back in the race for Ujfalusi. Lately some foreign teams were trying to get him but now an Italian team (Juve) is also after him.
All these teams are waiting to see what will happen and will he sign a new contract with Fiorentina

I dont think that Secco, is competent enough to pull that of,
even if he was there are a series of reasons that wouldnt allow that:
-Fiorentina want him, they need him now and they hope that they will pursuade him to extend his contract
-Milan are really interested on him, he has been a target for them for long a long time and we cant compete with them...
-Secco has an affection towards Fiorentina, he would never hurt their interests !

Juventus Back On Ujfalusi's Trail

Juventus have re-ignited their interest in Fiorentina defender Tomas Ujfalusi after having searched elsewhere unsuccessfully.

The search for a central defender continues for the Bianconeri, who want to sign more quality players in June.

The need for a stronger squad both in terms of strength and depth cannot be overemphasized, as despite some recent struggles the Bianconeri are still expected to return to the Champions League next season.

With Olof Mellberg almost certain to arrive in summer, the Old Lady will have some cover, but want to strengthen the defensive line further, and Ujfalusi is the man picked to do that.

The Czech Republic defender will almost certainly leave Fiorentina on a free transfer in June, even though he admitted that there still is the possibility that he can sign a new deal with the Viola.

His most likely destination appeared to be Spain with various clubs competing to sign him up, and possibly offering more than what clubs in Italy can.

However, Milan remain watchful, and Juventus have pushed forward their interest in the 29-year-old player and are expected to make a pre-contract offer to the defender in the coming weeks.

Ujfalusi could be interested in joining the Bianconeri, but might wait to ensure they will be playing in the Champions League. They might also need to improve their financial offer.
