I liked what I saw when in both matches. This year's TIM cup was more physical compared to previous versions.

Vs Milan, if the game was longer than 45 minutes I think we would have won. Our defence did a better job at handling Milan's attack than their defence did ours. Minus 2 great Seedorf goals, I thought we were the better team.

As for Tiago. A pk miss is a pk miss, regardless of how it's taken. His play on the field is what we have come to expect over the last year. No personality to his game. For some1 who needs to prove his worth to the team, he should be turning the middle of the pitch into mud. FFS Ekdal is imposing himself in games more than Tiago, and he just turned 19 and it's 1st move abroad. Tiago's passing is no more creative than anything our other cm's offer, but unlike them he doesn't pack nearly the same amount of bite or work rate.

Vs Inter, we pressed alot harder throughout. We deserved the win and played well at the same time. The battle between Rossi and Maicon was entertaining, Knezevic with 2 great last ditch tackles on Adriano to force a corner, and Ekdal/Rossi with a handful of moments between them which were followed by immediate applause by the fans. This forum has a reputation for overrating our youngsters, but based on the last 3 matches they have certainly confirmed their potential.

All the new signings had their moments today. That’s good to c.

Same here mate, but they must feel shit knowing by beating milan they let us win the cup and if they loose milan takes it.
well, if u do, then we'll win this tourney for the first time! you choose!
I know its just horrible to want them to even win a card game!! I hope they win on pens

you dont have too..I would rather that you take your red text out..
If you think about it, we changed more players that both other teams, and still played better
Yes we played well. Dont worry about my red text I didnt ask you your opinion on it

Tiago was nothing special..He had 2 nice passes ,and after he was running away from ball, and also missed to block seidorf when this one scored.

lets not talk about tiago anymore
it is actually a good thing to only do what you can (e.g. just play short secure passes) if you have no confidence. that is what tiago did ... but that does not make his performance great ... even i would have been able to make this short passes he did.

sometimes his movement looks elegant (but just like xabis long balls) you can't buy anything from that ... and i remember one situation that he wanted to feint an milanista and played a sublime pass that was so unexpected for nedved he had problems connect to it, because he did not expect that ...

doing unexpected things may be ok sometimes ... but not if your own teammates get surprised by that ...

tiago did good to play very quiet .. so ranieri did not notice that he sneaked on the pitch to play .... i'm glad ranieri noticed tiago on the pitch after the game and brought another player for him ... that could have gone bad for us
