The amount of moaning about this transfer is a bit ridiculous really. Considering what we have, a fragile bunch, except Sturaro, who is more of a hockey player than a footballer, this is a good transfer.

If you actually take the time to analyze our game against Genoa, he was closing us down and dispossessing us in the middle of the park time and time again. He really made a difference. This is something we need, and people were shouting for a warrior type signing just a month ago. Why suddenly change your tone now and start complaining instead?

The only negative i see about this signing is his age, but the market is very difficult in this moment and Beppe did a good job finding someone suitable.

Don't worry about his age. In South America we are late bloomers.

The only thing that worries me is his mentality. Outside Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil, South American players usually lack the mental strength to succeed at a top European club. The move to a big team gets to their head and start acting like morons.

Chile and Colombia are getting there but the other countries have still a lot work to do.

Yes, a good point. But hopefully being the first Venezuelan player in Juve will motivate him to give everything and work hard. He seems like a humble type as well so im positive he will bring his best to improve our team. I really hope he succeeds.

This makes no sense. Its about each individual, not about the country. Its not easy to play for a top club, and the player needs the right mentallity. Juventus usually does throughout research into the players they buy, so rincon should be fine.

4-4-2 Del Neri:

Buffon
Barzagli - Rugani - Bonucci - Chiellini
Khedira - Rincón - Sturaro - Marchisio
Mandzukic - Higuain

Brutal. Perfect.

Well also Venezuela tends to like baseball more anyways - so the best athletes don't always turn to football.
