It was a statement best left inside his mouth, I don't know why he had to mention it.
I know it is a good attitude to always think fairly, but it disgusts me that our own player comes out and talks like Juve are slicky cheaters of serie A.

I dont think it's disrespect. It's justification that Zidane's not exactly a saint either. A fair one at that, given his own teammate happens to have seen him react angrily on more than one occasion. It's a honest opinion, and I dont see anything wrong with it.
