Juve red, I have pointed out that Camo and Trez wanted to leave, tried to force themselves out, but there werent any suitors or good enough deals for them, and the club felt its better to hold onto them. But this is CONVENIENTLY ignored when paiting this black and white image of heroes and villains.

I dont have less disrespect for Camo and Trez for it, in that sitaution, a VERY rare situation of a club sinking, with no future in sight (people were fearing worse then Serie B back then), its totally understandable players look after themselves in a pragmatic way.

If I respect or disrespect for those players leaving and staying, ofcourse it adds to it to a degree if they stick around, but the reason is vital. And if I disrespect or dont care for those leaving, its mainly because of what I think of them in general, and not judging them on that extreme sitaution alone. Zlatan is a mercenary who looks out after nr 1, everyone knew it, and he would leave even if we werent relegated, nothing biggy with him leaving (in fact he has praised the club the most of those who left). I dont like Vieira and Emerson, so I could give a fuck where they went. I liked Canna, but what I liked less wasnt him leaving, but his dishonesty of saying he is as loyal as Del Piero and will stay, hours before packing, was a low move.

Zambro and Thuram are quite unfortunate to loose, because those two were the ones close to being real legends, and long servants, compared to the others who had just been there 1-2 seasons. So their ending is more sad, but we would have sold Thuram anyway, and WANTED to drop him like a bad habit. Zambro is the only one I REALLY wanted to stay, because he was only second to Del Piero for me in terms of Juve legend back then (yes, bigger then Gigi and Trez). Was heartbroken. But even if I dont care about him after that, it doesnt mean you forget everything before that, or think less of it (its naieve to let that one thing define it all, I mean, I said it before, the difference between Camo, Trez and Zambro is, the two former couldnt find clubs, ans Zambro as the best LB in the world had it easy). For example, just because he left in that summer, and Zebina stayed, doesnt mean I detest Zambro and admire Zebina for some notion of loyalty of staying. On the contrary, its the contrary, despite the outcome of that peculiar summer.

Parma didn't get the best out of him TBH. He played like what 6years there? Juventus was his real pit stop.
Don't be ridiculous, he was a World Cup winner and a Euro champion, with Cafu known as the best right back in the world, it's almost like he did us a favor. But he didn't, it was just two parties that were right for each other, he at his point in his fabulous career and we had a really strong, competitive team. A good match.

He doesn't owe us anything, all his recognition came well before he joined us.

Amazing how fine the line is being being loved and hated in football.

Remember that Trez and Camo wanted to leave, but the club refused to sell them.
What this has to do with Thuram disrespecting Juventus?

Anyone is free to leave if they want, no one is forced to stay in a club. If they do stay then they're what Del Piero/Nedved etc are... If they decided to leave, may god be with them but at least keep their mouth shut in case they want to say anything stupid that can offend fans that were always supporting them in good and bad times.

Ibra never criticised Juve after leaving.

He actually praised Moggi.

And it was just a general point, Rab. Folk need to try and avoid getting so emotional about things like that.

The praise Moggi still gets from some fans on this very forum annoys me. The man's a thug. We all knew he was criminal way before Calciopoli even started. Sure we laughed and said he could get the job done, but we knew it wasn't right.

I would like to see a line drawn under a lot of the Calciopoli stuff.

Having got back into Serie A and the CL, I have pretty much moved on from the whole thing.

And I don't think I've ever defended Moggi.

Ibra was never liked from day one.

Agreed about the 2nd part, though I can never avoid getting emotional.

Not talking about you.

And I agree, Calciopoli is over. We'll never know all the true details anyway.

If people can't or don't want to understand the words "Juventus who?", then there's no bother discussing the issue. Apparently players can piss over the club badge, and they'll still be loved.

Indeed, shame Thuram wore the captaincy before saying those words. Shows that he never deserved the position in the first place.

The quote was from a television interview after a match, just look up the various threads on it.

And mind you, Thuram said this WHILE HE WAS STILL A JUVE PLAYER, during the World Cup in June.

His transfer to Barca was in late July.
