But then you can’t use stats from this season as indication team would be better because he got injured after 5 or 6 matches in the season , so not enough sample size . So you must use previous seasons as better representations of his impact. And his impact on winning matches is not enough to conclude that if he was here results would be significantly better.

And since football is a team sport, saying one player getting injured ruined the season cannot be a valid excuse.
This is the only season under a new coach and new defensive system so it's all we can use as indication. It's not winning matches, it's about being the main reference to our defense so we don't concede. It's not his job to score goals.

Nobody said it ruined the season but you lose your current best player any team would feel the impact no matter how better depth they have. And obviously since our depth is shit we felt it hard.

I'm not excusing Motta, he should be doing better with or without Bremer.

Missed the game but watched it now. We should just get Conte back. It’s always made perfect sense, both long for CL victory, plus he’s Juve blood and knows what the club means. Perfect chemistry, FC25 ;) It all comes down to pride an we need to get back to the top fast, so why mess around when the guy’s literally asking for it? This summer, make it happen.

But Bremer was here for the last 3 seasons and juve went for one of the worst periods of all time last season with not winning a game for like 2 months.

Bremer was also here when juve got macabi’d
Bremer was also in team. When juve got trashed in Europa league

Bremer not score goals. Goals win games
ugh sunshine, where to begin

buffon, barzagli, bonucci and chiellini participated in 3 finals (2 cl, 1 euro) and conceded 11 goals iirc. does it make them duds? wouldn't you take them back at their primes?

in most cases defenses win leagues, that's been proven in many leagues. we scored almost as many goals as napoli (2 rounds ago we had the same iirc, now they have 2 more goals), yet they have a 16 point lead over us.

with bremer, we conceded ZERO goals in the league in 6 games. without bremer, we conceded 19 in 16 games. best defenses usually finish a season below 30. with bremer, kalulu could play either lb or cb, there was no pressure on gatti or savona to perform twice a week. it was a well working defense. now it's a mess. you know, when you're around high performing professionals, you perform better. bremer was our best player at the beginning of the season, no contest.

now, it's not that everything should be blamed on his absence. this team/club/squad has many flaws, starting from the top. we discuss it all day. but downplaying the absence of the best AND one of the most experienced players who was the defender of the year for toro a few seasons ago? why?

And since football is a team sport, saying one player getting injured ruined the season cannot be a valid excuse.
check the season when del piero got injured, please do. and check the rest of the squad too, which had zidane, conte, davids, inzaghi, young henry, ferrara, peruzzi, etc, and lippi on the bench. a team full of quality and experience, both on and off the pitch. the stronger ever juventus organization too. no financial issues either.

now tell me that one player's injury cannot ruin a season

Its a shit league, in no way comparable to Serie A few decades ago. With or without injuries he had to do better than what he has until now, which is winning every 3rd game. That is midtable material. Further more, that he would be allowed to continue even if we dont qualify for the CL is shocking. This has to be nonsense. I refuse to believe we adopted such low standards.

Trust the process we are nearly there.

Thiago Motta’s Juventus sits at just 8 victories through 22 matched days and are 16 points off the top of the table which is the widest gap Juventus have faced at this point in the three point era on par with Ferrara-Zaccheroni’s 2009-2010 side (@Gazzetta_it)

He has to be fired asap. The issue is, person doing firing, should get fired as well for squandering millions on transfers that turned out to be a complete bust. Like any business, it's performance related and there need to be consequences for such fuckery. What a mess these 2 created.

What about Maurizio Scanavino and Gianluca Ferrero ? Are they accountable no shirt sponsor for the biggest club in Italy?

Its true tho. Bremer’s injury has colossally fucked us.

He is a good player at least better than the others in CB but come on...he doesn't make or break this team. He is not the missing piece in making Dusan, Luiz, Koop and the other flops perform.

New coach in the earlier part of the season brings momentum and that momentum is now gone. Bremer would have reduced the bleeding because he is better than the other options but he is not Franz Beckenbauer or Maldini. Its just Bremer - an above average defender.

yes completely accountable, neither one of these turds, knows football at all, and should be fired. ASAP

Even he got 2 more seasons, he won't get better anyway.
So this turd elklown is willing to keep this turd, and lose 150 million and 200 million on players, for not getting into the champions league, what a great business man/idiot.

Motta : “We showed great personality throughout the first half. We limited Lobotka: in the second half we chose to remain compact to counter a team that is physically fit and more rested than us, but we were not capable. #Napoli then took over the field”

[Nico Schira]
As far as I'm concerned, this is not a valid excuse for the absolutely terrible 2nd half against Napoli but Motta is definitely allowed to bring it up.

We probably have the smallest squad of the entire league while we have to play more games than most other teams. And to make matters worse: we're stacked in certain positions. Resting defensive players is basically impossible, but at the same time every single attacking player (except the actual striker) can be substituted and there would still be 2 or 3 players stuck on the bench.
