Rewind 6 months ago, A lot of us would give our left arm to see this guy sit on our bench. How wrong we were, or maybe we're just being impatient. For now, he deserves a whole season, until then let's get him a few more players in the January window and then judge. It may not change his style, but it atleast gives us a better reason to bitch.

i don't think giuntoli should be sacked. yeah tuz turned on him but look at the mercato rating. either tuz is this stupid and the squad is better than the results show or... no "or", tuz can't be this stupid :snoop:
The squad is better than the results show. No way Lazio or Fiorentina have better teams. However, he hired Motta so he has to be held accountable to a certain degree. He created a mess last winter. His feud with Max behind the scenes affected the squad and the team imploded shortly after. High profile transfers flopped this season. Missing out minimum objectives (CL place) that would cost us +150m along with aforementioned are arguments for sack. He did a good job by getting rid of the deadwood though. I dont miss any of those players. But negatives for me outweight the positives in this scenario. Then again who replaces him? Guys above are worse so I dont trust their judgment. He probably stays regardless of the finish. Motta definitely goes if we miss out on the CL place. He probably leaves sooner if things dont improve.

With trusting the process is nothing wrong if the results are not the best but team is getting better every week. But in our case, things went from bad to worse every single match.

Maybe its time for a poll. does motta deserve to stay until june.

Injuries though. Alot of the new players haven't been available or had time to gel.

I'm 50/50 about him. I want immediate results and to see more improvements but the logically thinking part of my brain knows that any manager needs more time.

Motta will stay for at least the season for sure and I would be shocked if he leaves at end of season if we are 5th or 6th. It'd take more than that imo for us to cut him loose but ofc pressure will be sky high from the get go.

Hate to say it but Rabiot as frustrating as he was was better than our new midfield players.

Every damn season after Pogba and Vidal left we somehow manage to make our midfield worse. When you think it's not possible, we find new ways.

Atalanta coach Gian Piero Gasperini on Thiago Motta: "At Bologna, he impressed me with his build-up play, but Juve is a different world where he is expected to deliver results immediately. He’s young, he’ll learn and succeed. I’ll invite him to dinner in Turin."
