The Sarri and Pirlo firings were both wrong tbh. Them being fired doesn’t mena that Motta should get the can too, especially when the squad is far FAR worse.

Hiring both of those clowns were wrong. Firing them was correct decision. We have a problem with hiring though. If Motta finishes outside CL places he has to be kicked out. He has no business remaining. Juventus has to have higher standards and he is not some renowned manager that we should give more time to because of past success.

Btw Inter demolished 4th place Lazio away 6-0. This is the level of Serie A nowdays and we should be ok finishing behind Lazio or Fiorentina?

Naplesis right now demolishing Viola 3:0 away. We couldn't win vs them at our stadium.

Concenciao after yesterday game: "I'm not happy with the game, I saw a bad attitude in my team from few weeks ago and I dont want to comment fonseca's work. But with that kind of attitude you wont come along in life and also in the football. Team needs self esteem"

I remember that Mourinho quote about the United players that he let go. "See where they play...how they play... IF they play".

Pirlo is my favourite midfielder of all time and by far my favourite player since Del Piero but he has proved not good enough as a coach. Its been years now since his Juve stint and nothing he did points to us having misjudged his qualities as a manager.

I think you're mistaking the continuation of our decline with Allegri after him to imply that Pirlo was a good coach. I see it as from bad to worse.

What Conte did with us was really unexpected.

There were other factors that helped that season. New stadium, no European football, A great mix of new and old players.

Buffon, Chielli, Barza, Vidal, Pirlo all world class and then a monster like Stephan at full back.

We can't expect this to be the case every time we get a new coach. I'm not even sure than Conte could do this with the squad we have now.
Chelsea too. Conte is one of the greats. Mentally unstable and a dick but he clearly knows how to build winning teams on tight resources.

If Motta is to be successful at this version of Juve I suspect it would look more like the Pioli Milan than Conte's Juve. It wont be a dominant team that owns the league. It will be a reasonably okay team that might occasionally pick up a title.

I dont think we have neither the coach nor the Dof nor the money to be a dominant team like before.

If we had Gasperini, we would probably have been top by now.
it's probably a stretch but it surprises me how gasperini isn't hyped more on tuz. attacking football, juventino roots, doesn't need expensive signings to make his system work

yeah flopped at inda once, who cares. most inda coaches did, especially during their darkest banter era of the last 20 years

He has it made at Atalanta.

Zero pressure, huge say in transfers, a public that loves him, a stable management, brilliant scouting system and time to implement his ideas.

Yes, he could make more money here - but why deal with the insane pressure of this job, an incompetent management and fans who will (rightly) turn on him if results aren’t good straight away.

He’s also 67 years old, I can see the Atalanta job being his final one in football.

This is exactly what we need, a coach who is a psychologist. We've needed one in a while. Less dacdics, more mental growth.

I dont think he is getting the sack in january. Right or wrong, i think the massive amount of injuries will save him until the end of the season.

I dont know if i believe in motta being able to change it around but i do believe this squad can be much better than it currently looks.
