Those arrivals were supposed to make us better, while we sold players we did not consider good enough. We didnt sell a star player(s) to finance acquisition of Koopmeiners or Luiz...
We did not come close to bunkruptcy while Inter were saved by acquisition, Oaktree. Neither club is profitable but we have wealthier owners that keep pumping money into the club. We should be in far better place. Napoli or Atalanta are beggars compared to us.
Inter was never close to bankruptcy. Their numbers have been growing year after year as Marotta explained last week. Their owner was but that doesn't exactly involve them. Napoli or Atalanta are healthy teams financially, we're not. Our income is much higher so if we spend correctly, we'll top them again sooner or later but our expenses were way higher and that was the main problem.

Kean, Alex Sandro, Chiesa, Pogba, Szczesny, Rabiot, De Sciglio, Kostic, Miretti, Huijsen, Soulé, Iling etc. Many players were ousted with the view of short and long term financial stability. Those guys brought in the cash directly or indirectly (drop in salaries) for the arrivals. We shrunk the squad big time and still only broke even... And many of them were deemed too expensive rather than simply not good enough...

Are Koop and Luiz playing up to their transfer sum standard? Well, obviously not... We've been bullied on both transfers.

Thats a story for their shareholders. In reality, Inter are barely keeping their head above water. What has been their net result over the last few seasons? Id assume they had suffered big losses each season without even looking at spreadsheets. How much did they spend over the last few years on the market? Less than us. We invest the most but we are behind each year. Bad decisions on the market.

Many of players we had to sacrifice? Which one of those players was good enough for us? Where did those players went and how much are they playing in their new clubs? I dont see much quality in that list but our acquisitions were supposed to make a difference by now. They havent so someone has to take responsibility. Coach, GM...

Their net result had been going up every year, exactly the point. They had a 36mil loss last season. Ours was over 199m for reference... It has been skydiving without the CL cash.

Did they spend much? Here and there they bought a bit (never excessive like we did for Koop or DL 'tho) but they didn't sell all that much either and they didn't have to revamp the squad to stay afloat. It's a completely different situation.

Milan in the last few years was more compareable maybe. Maldini did some good work there but now Ibra is fucking it up...

Quality, quantity, either way those guys weren't some NextGen players... Many of those guys were playing meaningful minutes. They left gaps in the team when sold and needed replacements...

Allegri deserves a statue for bringing those fucks to the CL. Different story.

The club has been used as a debt vehicle for nearly a decade. Whenever an alt asset management firm type takes over its bc the asset(the club) is financially distressed.

I agree on Allegri, he made the most from that squad.

Our owners are covering the losses by injecting capital every few years. They will acquire more shares, dilute the value of the existing ones and we keep rolling. However, those losses occur exactly because we overspent on the market between transfer fees (depreciation) and salaries. We have outspent every team in Italy over the last 5 years. I would assume each summer. But we have failed to compete for Scudetto for 5 straight seasons. We, as a company that has few dozens of billions of € worth coorporation backing us, are in infinitely better financial position than any other club in Italy. The amount of money invested in Juventus by Exor is probably more than a billion over the last 10 years.

All these players you named were ousted since they have not been considered good enough for the money we spent on them. We reduced the wage bill and the age of the squad, which is positive but if results will be missing, we will take bigger financial hit. Luckily we have a big coorporation to bail us out but until when will they keep doing it?
